Hello Guys, welcome back to my blog and to part four of my ITV listings.

Today we will be looking at ITV4 whom have said that their channel that:

ITV4 is a haven of sport and action, providing entertainment that is a glorious escape from everyday life.

Going from strength to strength, the channel is made for men, with a core audience of 25-44 year old males.

At its heart, ITV4 has some incredible sporting action including the French Open, Le Tour de France, Live Darts, Live Snooker and Live Boxing alongside four live games from the world’s most anticipated tournament, the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The channel is also the home of British Horse Racing with almost 100 days of exciting live racing scheduled in 2018 across both ITV and ITV4.

The channel also has an extensive range of US cult classic shows including Storage Wars, Pawn Stars and Ax Men

When checking out the tv listings it was clear that the channel was most invested in factual programmes, whether it be live sports or one of those reality shows where there's always a risk or a challenge made but the circumstances are made to appear much more serious than they actually are.

In regards to fictional, the only type they seem to do and the most popular genre is crime dramas. The shows however are unlike other crime dramas on other itv channels such as Mrs Marple as these ones include a bigger male cast and also have comedic elements, which implies it was created to specifically a larger male audience.

Looking at these TV listing, I will keep my conclusion short. I won't be creating any shows for ITV 4 because the programmes shown aren't necessarily things I have watched before and aren't necessarily something I find interesting therefore I it wouldn't make sense to me for me to create a show for the channel.

That's all for now folks, catch you guys later :)
